Classification Pay Scale
In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.

Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $220,000.00
Maximum $240,000.00

Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Assistant Dean of Clinical Education for WesternU COMP & COMP-Northwest is to develop, implement, and manage the third- and fourth-year clinical rotations for students pursuing the DO degree at WesternU COMP and COMP-Northwest. This includes utilizing innovative approaches for recruitment, retention and recognition of rotation preceptors and sites. The Assistant Dean of Clinical Education, COMP & COMP-Northwest must be adept at forming positive relationships with a wide array of physicians, administrators and staff at rotation sites while using creativity to keep clinical education robust. May supervise Office of Clinical Education staff.

This is an administration position that includes a faculty appointment.

Required Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or Medical Doctor (MD) degree.

Residency trained and Board Certification in specialty of training. Travel including but not limited to states in the Pacific Northwest and to Pomona, CA.
